I owned him in 2003 back when he still had "potential." My girlfriend at the time was in Cleveland on the high school band trip and went to Jacobs Field to watch the Indians play the Royals, and Hernandez was the scheduled starter. Needless to say, I was very excited and constantly sending her reminders, which she certainly ignored. He ended up getting pushed back a day because the Royals called up Kyle Snyder to make his debut, so she didn't see Hernandez. Naturally, he wound up tanking his career.
